Woolwich, dock

Woolwich Dock is a historic shipyard of Sydney Harbour, in the lower north shore suburb of Woolwich. Sitting in a sandstone cutting, it provides boat owners with berthing, repair and maintenance services. A First Fleet Class ferry is seen in the distance on the Lane Cove River heading towards the Parramatta River. The skyscrapers at North Sydney and the Sydney Harbour Bridge are in the distance.

  3. Interesting pic. I'm sure it's probably very quiet there at the moment.

  4. Echoing other comments, traffic must be very light there.

  6. Thank goodness, there seem to still be provisions for boats! At least, I hope they can move around instead of being at one place right now? Many thanks for highlighting this interesting feature for All Seasons. Hope you are doing well during this time? Have a lovely week!
