These benches, in a circular formation, are located at the end of the Overseas Passenger Terminal at West Circular Quay. A lone person is enjoying the sunshine on this day. In the distance is are the Circular Quay ferry wharves and railway station. This photo was taken in 2013 before prominent buildings like the AMP Centre and Gold Fields House in this city skyline were redeveloped or demolished.

A pic with few people could be one taken in many locations today. There are so few people out and about.
ReplyDeletePretty setting, Jim. I imagine some times it gets very busy. In 2014 we spent a lot of time there but I don't remember the circular structure. We came in on a Princess ship, rode the ferries, and took the train over the bridge and back. Plus a lot of buses to and from.
ReplyDelete..
Jim, your cruise ship was probably docked right beside where I took this photo.
DeleteGreat photo and good to see social distancing back in 2014!
ReplyDeleteNice composition. Very well done!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture. The young lady had the whole bench to herself.
ReplyDeleteGreat image for the theme, Jim !
