Christian Brothers' High School is a Catholic boys high school located along Denison Road, in the inner west suburb of Lewisham. This two storey building was built in 1892.
Hello Jim! A beautiful Catholic school. This building is already a monument and an interesting archtectonic style. Hugs and greetings from far away Poland. Lucja
My grandkids go to a Catholic school even though both of my daughters went to public school. There are advantages to both.

ReplyDeleteNo it was the original school building. There are larger buildings surrounding it which were built in later years.
DeleteThe 1892 building looks terrific - my favourite era of Australian architecture. Alas the semi-circular sign at the entrance does not.

Interesting place
ReplyDeleteIt's in good shape for an 1892 building.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely building. I love those shadow-filled porches.
ReplyDeleteI'd be interested to see the inside and how it is suited to the modern world
