North Strathfield railway station was built in 1918 and is located in the western suburb of North Strathfield. It is the first station on the Main Northern line after it branches from the Main Suburban line at Strathfield and is served by Sydney Trains T9 Northern Line services.

Has rail traffic fallen off in light of Covid 19? I really enjoy riding the train - brings back memories.

It certainly has because so many people are still working from home. It's been six months for me and we still haven't been given a return date yet.

ReplyDeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteI love old buildings! Over the years I've stumbled on abandoned railroads and train stations similar yours pictured. I'd love rephotograph some of them. Perhaps when things settle down again and we can get back to our periodic day trips then I can do it. Thanks for visiting my humble little blog niche. Have a wonderful week!
Cathy, I love old buildings too.
DeleteI enjoy seeing the simple but pretty buildings like this. I guess it's seen busier days. Hopefully, things will be back to the way they were soon.
