Sydney Olympic Park, railway station

The main entrance of the railway station, in the western suburb of Sydney Olympic Park. It was designed by Hassell architects and built in 1998 for the 2000 Summer Olympic Games. It is an underground station that is located on a balloon loop. It is served by Sydney Trains T7 Olympic Park Line services from Lidcombe station but during major events at Sydney Olympic Park, train services run direct from the intercity platforms of Central, also sometimes stopping at Redfern and Strathfield.
