Canterbury, railway station

 Canterbury railway station, in the inner west suburb of Canterbury. The station opened in 1895 with a line from Sydenham to Belmore. Today the station is served by Sydney Trains T3 Bankstown line services.

  2. I love that somehow passenger rail service survives in your country. Be nice if we had that option here.

    1. It's expanding too with new city and suburban metro lines being built now.

      why would a passenger rail service NOT survive? Trains are cheaper, cleaner and faster than cars and buses, and as Canterbury railway station shows, the Victorian train facilities are already in place (or could be easily modernised).
