Banksia, St Savvas of Kalymnos Orthodox Church

St Savvas of Kalymnos Orthodox Church is located along the Princes Highway, in the southern suburb of Banksia. This church building was formerly used by the Banksia Free Church. It became an Orthodox Church in 2016 and features a reproduction of an icon of the saint on the windows.

  3. This is lovely. Hard to capture nighttime shots and you did it fabulously.

    1. Thank you. It was impossible to be able to photograph the backlit sign and the mural though. The mural was more important so the sign is a bit overexposed.

  4. Nice Shadow Shot, Jim. If it isn't lighted it isn't hardly seen.
I made and entry this week, the first one, and late, just now.
