Waterloo, mural

This mural is on the side of a commercial building on the corner of Chapel Lane and Botany Road, in the inner city suburb of Waterloo. The Kid Laroi is an Australian musician who grew up in this area and has had international success with his music. This mural was created in 2020 by visual artist Scott Marsh.

  2. I'd never heard of him, so I followed the link and learned about him and his music. Nice to ready about his work, which made this mural even nicer.

    I always pass "Waterloo-Stra├če" and have ABBA stuck in my head.
    Well. It´s Monday ;-)
    They say you cannot get rid of an earworm as long as you listen to the song.

    1. Yes, he does have indigenous heritage. He is Kamilaroi (or Gamilaraay) from which he derived his stage name "Laroi".
