Mascot, Sydney Airport (Theme Day: When I Can Travel Again)

The Sydney International Airport Departure Plaza, in the eastern suburb of Mascot. This area is used to drop passengers off at the Departures level of the T1 International Terminal. Normally, this area would be buzzing with cars, taxis and buses throughout the day but at the moment there are many times when it is completely deserted. Travellers are waiting to return here to travel overseas again.

  1. A great display of steel and design! You are bringing up an interesting point! Where I live it is similar, with companies of large companies, only one or two cars are seen. It makes me sad to see, we need an economic boost again when D. Trump comes back again!

  2. It was a quiet place yesterday as we flew out, but not nearly as quiet as Melbourne Airport.

I think Jim would like travellers to return here to travel overseas again, but only when we are a nation again of good individuals' health, hospitals fully functioning again, schools focusing on education rather than social distancing, safe retirement homes for our parents, and public transport at its peak again.

I don't think we can wait for Thump to be tried and gaoled, before we return to morality, good health and travel.

  7. The skies are so quiet these days. We used to have a plane go but about every 2 minutes and now it is a rarity to see one.

  8. Much the same here, the domestic terminal is the only one that's busy
