Lunar Lanterns have been installed around the city to celebrate the Sydney Lunar New Year Festival. This year is the Year of the Tiger in the Chinese zodiac. This Horse lantern is installed opposite the Queen Victoria Building along George Street. The Zodiac symbol of the Horse is characterised as animated, active and energetic.

Wow! Very beautiful and creative. I followed the link and look at all the zodiac signs on display, and it is quite impressive. I love the snake, but the monkeys are so much fun, and the dragon is very impressive. What a joy that you have it all to look at in person.
