This substation is located along Fletcher Street, in the eastern suburb of Tamarama. Although the building itself is quite unremarkable, the graffiti artwork on the door is fascinating. It features a skeletal arm and hand holding a Google Nest. The tag line reads: "OK, Google. How do I make an art?" It has been created by street artist Cam Scott, also known as Not Not, who has a lot of this type of stencil artwork in the area.

A good Google question. Nice streetart it is.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good glimpse of the city.
ReplyDeleteThat's unexpected.
ReplyDeleteFascinating. It could almost be Google advertising for itself.
ReplyDeleteGreat one!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I understand the intent
ReplyDeleteA google advert maybe? lol. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Jim.
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the message exactly but the artist uses a lot of skeletons in his street art along with technology or digital imagery. I'll take some more photos of his stencils which I have seen around the city.
DeleteDefinitely qualifies! Always nice to see your posts
ReplyDeleteThat's something to think about, definitely why it was painted on the door.
ReplyDeleteSo I decided to ask Siri that question. She showed me an article that began, “ Step 1: Justify Your Existence.” That’s as far as I got!
ReplyDeleteHilarious!
