These retro sculptures were installed on the awning of a menswear shop along Marrickville Road, in the inner west suburb of Marrickville. More than a dozen were originally commissioned by the City of Marrickville as a novelty tourist attraction to coincide with the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics. Created by Ces Camilleri, only six displays remain on the shopfront awnings but the council removed and stored the rest, so they may appear elsewhere in the future.
