Looking across the beach in the eastern suburb of North Bondi. The murals decorate the wall behind Wally Weekes Pool, below Biddigal Reserve and apartments stretch to Ben Buckler point. It's late afternoon and a couple of lifeguard beach buggies have driven down to the shore for lifeguards to monitor swimmers.

When my beloved left Sydney 52 years ago, he said the only thing he would miss was Bondi Beach. Your photo brought tears to his eyes.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of some Mediterranean coasts somewhere
ReplyDeleteLot of details in this pic, great shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a view!
ReplyDeleteCompared to the cold weather here in Ontario, Canada, your sunshine weather makes me wish I were there.
ReplyDeleteI don't get to the beach very often. Have the Sydney beaches been taken over by those Coolcabana things like they have in Queensland?
ReplyDeleteThose coolcabanas are on a lot of the beaches. They're mostly used by family groups but some beaches like Bondi are more popular with young beachgoers who don't bother.
DeleteThat's so beautiful, and what a lovely place those apartments would be to live! I am a bit leery of swimming where there are shark nets though. I supposed it becomes second nature when you live there.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteMuch❤love
