These buildings along William Street are part of the Australian Museum in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst. The original Barnet Wing with an entrance along College Street was built in the 1880s in the neo-classical style is partly seen here on the right. The Collections and Research Building on the left was completed in 2008 and the Parkes-Farmer Wing in the centre was completed in 1963.
A very modern looking building.
ReplyDeleteQuite a nice facade
ReplyDeleteAn impressive blend.
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting folded appearance on the front of the building - I like the effect.
