Marrinawi Cove is located on the shore of Sydney Harbour, near the Towns Place entrance of Barangaroo Reserve. A netted swimming enclosure was created here in 2023. Linked to: Wordless Wednesday, My Corner of the World, Communal Global.
A netted enclosure? Why is that? Are the tides too rough to stay close to shore or is there a sharp drop-off? Just curious. Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2024/01/wandering-around-beautiful-city-of-metz.html
Great. In Lahti, Finland it´s -18C (-0.4F) outside right now. I prefer your climate any time of the week. And twice on Sundays. Nice shot too! I like it alot.
I've been in the chlorine and salt water so much my skin is like sandpaper. Here in Costa Rica. :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun!! Especially from where I live where it is frigid cold right now.
ReplyDeleteOh it is summer there...here (Austria, the country with a similar name but no kangaroos :-) it is wintertime.
ReplyDeleteAll the best

Just to let you know I just came back home from a walk. It was getting dark and it was quite cold, -13C, so this looks very inviting.
ReplyDeleteOh I realy want to go swimming

Sharks are known in Sydney Harbour.
DeleteIndeed. Even if they are rare, this far into the harbour, it's better to be safe.
DeleteIIRC they've occasionally been seen as far up the Hawkesbury as Wiseman's Ferry.
DeleteBeautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing
