St George Sailing Club, located along Riverside Drive in the southern suburb of Sans Souci, is at the mouth of the Georges River on Botany Bay. It was founded in 1897, making it one of the oldest sailing clubs in Australia. In the early 1960s the clubhouse had to relocate to the east to make way for construction of the new Captain Cook Bridge.
It was redeveloped in 2022 with a new clubhouse with sailing facilities, a waterfront restaurant and two bars. These are the storage boatsheds for the 13ft and 16ft skiffs used by club members.
