...Country Road seems like a strange name in the city.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Wow. Love the architecture.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ☺
What an ornate building. I get the feeling this is an upscale clothing retailer.
ReplyDeleteIt's an Australian designer brand but more affordable than most designer brands.
DeleteNice architecture.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful architecture, looks like it's Edwardian.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen Victoria Building is really lovely, but I don't remember seeing the entrance to the Country Road shop. Not enough glass windows, perhaps.
ReplyDeleteIt's on two levels and an internal staircase takes you down to the ground floor which has corner shopfronts.
DeleteBeautiful entrance.
ReplyDeleteThis is really a very nice intree of this store and does invite one to look inside the store. But the name does make me think of a street rather than a store.
ReplyDeleteFrom their website. Country was chosen to signify a strong desire to create product with authenticity, while Road acknowledged the way forward.
DeleteImpressive entrance, gorgeous.
