This is part of an extensive mural along the walls and pillars of the walkways and travelators leading from the underground car park to Rockdale Plaza shopping centre, in the southern suburb of Rockdale. The mural was created by Joe Whyte in 2022 and depicts historic moments and landmarks from the local area. This depicts two men at the Rockdale Council Cubrooms in 1968.

That is a beautiful mural. I recently revived an And old Sunday meme if you’re interested. https://newscenicsunday.blogspot.com/?m=1
