This mural is in Hurstville Interchange Open Air Gallery Park, along Forest Road, in the southern suburb of Hurstville. The park features temporary public art which changes with different themes. 'Tatalita' is a triptych mural which was created in 2025 by artist Zhuzhu (Guiyong Zhu) from Taopic to celebrate the Year of the Snake.

ReplyDeleteDo temporary public art murals which change with new themes win viewers' approval? How often do they change? and are viewers disappointed when they go to see a specific theme and unexpectedly find it gone.
ReplyDeleteWhen they first started displaying these, they were changing the art a couple of times per year. But over the last few years they've just been doing them annually with Lunar New Year images.
