St Peters, railway station

St Peters railway station is located along the Princes Highway, in the southern suburb of St Peters. The station opened in 1884 and was served by the Illawarra Line to Hurstville. It is now served by Sydney Trains T8 Airport & South Line services. The trains departing on platform 1 head north to the city and trains departing on platform 2 head south towards the suburb of Sydenham.

  1. How I wish I was young enough and had enough hair to do something cool like that person.

  2. St Peters railway station has such an interesting history! It’s fascinating how a station that opened in 1884 has evolved over time, now serving the T8 Airport & South Line with connections all the way to Sydenham and the city. It sounds like a busy yet charming spot in the heart of the southern suburbs. Your reflection on it is a reminder of how much local transportation connects us, both physically and historically, to the places we live.
