Gymea Bay

Gymea Bay is on the Port Hacking estuary. The bay and this southern suburb are named after the Gymea Lily which is found in this area.

  2. Looks amazingly like the point I lived on - left in 1963 - Coopernook Avenue ring any bells?

  3. Elaine coolowl. I'm not that familiar with this suburb. I grew up further north in the St George area but hung out at Cronulla as a teen.
