Sydney Opera House, Vivid Sydney, Lighting The Sails

Lighting the Sails is a work of art which involves the illumination of the sails of the Sydney Opera House for the Vivid Sydney festival. The second annual Vivid Sydney festival, which ran from 27th May to 21st June, is a festival of light, music and ideas.

  4. The last one on my right blows my mind, how the lighting people do it. But I like the blue best.

    Auckland sky tower also uses different colours.

  21. Some of these aren't bad, was so miserable the night I was down there I didn't hang around so only saw a couple of not very interesting ones (and still ended up being laid low with a cold for over a week).

  23. Ann, I was lucky that the two nights that I went out, the weather was quite mild and I was able to take lots of snaps. It would have been a different story if it had been as cold as it is at the moment.
