At The Table: Are We Sitting Comfortably? by Sally Kidall, Australia

Continuing my look at Sculpture by the Sea, the annual outdoor sculpture exhibition which was located on the two kilometre coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. These sculptures along the cliffs were overlooking Bondi Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
Wonderful! I start to say I like sculpture A best, then start thinking, no, maybe I lilke B best . . . I really admire Sydney's passion and support for public art.
I think that outdoor sculpture change somehow the life of a viewer...because it force them to think, to reflect, to enjoy the moment and the space! Wonderful! Regards! Photographis
Bare bilder, I think of all the sculptures at the exhibition, the first one might be my favourite too. Locating it on this lookout was a brilliant idea.

Some great installations and sculptures here. And photos of course.
ReplyDeleteI did not get to SbtS this year. I like the way the sculptures dot the coastline ... but I think I really just like the coastline!
ReplyDeleteCan't decide which I like the best, they're all cleverly created and stunning :)
