Sculpture by the Seais an annual exhibition which is located on the coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. This sculpture was located at a fork in the walkway at Bondi, with a terrific backdrop of the Pacific Ocean under light wisps of clouds in the sky. There were some pretty cool sculptures there. I like the ones with curving lines. I had to laugh about the one that looked like a tube with something squirting out.
The blues of the ocean and sky in this photo are so pretty together.
Sydney has more spectacular beaches and more picturesque mountains, but there is something very special about Bondi. I love it.

Maybe a bit out of context, yet it reminded me of Don Quichote; a favourite role model of mine.

Is there a more famous beach in Oz than Bondi beach? We watch your TV surf program very often.
ReplyDeleteLovely sky - and such a lovely, unusual sculpture!
ReplyDeleteAnn, yes Bondi Rescue is a very popular factual television program in Australia and overseas.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of a gorgeous stretch of coastline! And I like the sculpture, although I have no idea what it represents, if anything.
