'Walking In Time' is a wire sculpture created by Dominique Sutton in 2003. It is located on the footpath outside the HSBC Bank head office along George Street.
Dindin MK, the sculpture is made of stainless steel.
Julie and Joan, this was one of my biggest challenges. I thought it was going to be impossible to get a shot without people streaming across the front of it or coming out of the building behind it. I had to be extremely patient. :)
These are grand sculptures...I think the one on the right is a woman and the one on the left a man. Love the dainty little reflections. They look like they are frozen there in time. A wonderfully composed shot and a real keeper.
I like it and nice capture!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeletethe way they look, it should be walking in slow time.
ReplyDeleteInteresting!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it made of?
Okay - so how on earth did you get that sculpture with no pedestrians? That footpath teams with people ... even at 3am!!!!
ReplyDeleteCool. Street Art livens up a city so much.
ReplyDeleteI remember Peter (or was it you) posting these with people in the shot
ReplyDeleteGood light, I always pass this in the shadow!
