The Garrison Church at Millers Point is one of many buildings that has been lit up around the city for the third annual Vivid Sydney festival which this year runs from 27th May to 13th June.
Thats impressive. Going to try and get to the Rocks tomorrow night but handheld this time. If I have the time and energy might go back to the Quay as well and see what I can do handheld.
Last Thursday night was pretty good. Nowhere near as bad as weekends, even good very good view of Fire Dance. Imagine earlier in the week would be even fewer people.
Thanks, Ann. I'll try and make the effort this week. Some of the works around Circular Quay were impossible to photograph through the crowds on the weekend.
Such a vivid sense of panoramic night lights! And the church lines create an interesti ng background!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Love the lights J.

ReplyDeleteYou take the best night shots Jim this looks kind of eerie on the one hand and warm and welcoming on the other, great lighting!!
ReplyDeleteAnn, let me know if there are less people about on a weeknight because the crowds have been quite hectic on weekends.

ReplyDeleteLove it especially from my chair without having to go out.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Jim. Would love to visit and see it all first hand even with the challenge of the crowds in some venues.
