This is part of a mural on a shop on the corner of King Street and Rochford Street, in the inner city suburb of Newtown. The artwork was created by Days One, who are Peque and Sykoh. The theme is: "This summer Sky is the limit… Make money money… say make money money!!" It features a masked graffiti artist kangaroo, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney skyline.

ReplyDeleteAny mural featuring my favorite bridge is 'A' ok with me Jim, excellent find.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt has been a few weeks since my last visit "down under". The Vivid Sydney light displays are fantastic. You have some incredibly talented artists and technicians who put it together. Also your night photography is first rate!

This really must capture the attention of passersby. I'm betting the guerilla art theme represents the artists' self image. Laughed out loud at the spray cans in the kangaroo's pouch. The sunset looks like a distant fire. Maybe the revolution has started and this guy is part of the resistance. Thanks for contributing to Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteVisiting again for MYM- hope you can stop by..
