The Lotus Pond is located in the Royal Botanic Gardens and is linked to the Main Pond. The lotus or water lilies that surround the fountain in the middle of the pond are brown and dying off at this time of year. To view the lilies green and thriving in summer see here. To view the pond without the lillies in winter see here.
I would definitely like to see a close up photo of a lotus flower. You have a chance to see that you have lotus pond near you. Thanks for sharing.

I'll see what I can do about getting a shot in the season when the lotus flowers are in bloom. :)
DeleteBoth are nice sights, but I like the green lilies best. I hate seeing things dying.
ReplyDeleteI would love to visit that Botanical Garden.
ReplyDeleteThe pond with dying lotus looks dramatic.
