Botanic Gardens, Lotus Pond

The Lotus Pond is located in the Royal Botanic Gardens and is linked to the Main Pond. The lotus or water lilies that surround the fountain in the middle of the pond are brown and dying off at this time of year. To view the lilies green and thriving in summer see here. To view the pond without the lillies in winter see here.

  1. I would definitely like to see a close up photo of a lotus flower. You have a chance to see that you have lotus pond near you. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for joining Water World Wednesday

    1. I'll see what I can do about getting a shot in the season when the lotus flowers are in bloom. :)

  2. Both are nice sights, but I like the green lilies best. I hate seeing things dying.

  3. I would love to visit that Botanical Garden.

  4. The pond with dying lotus looks dramatic.

  5. Cool place! It would be lovely to go there someday.

  6. it's lovely to see the lotus pond in different seasons. the water lilies can be invasive, but the flowers are so pretty.

  7. It's amazing how much a landscape changes throughout the year.

  8. Lotus ponds are so calming. I would love to spend the afternoon here in any season!

When I look at your blog site in Firefox, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer,
it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
Other then that, very good blog!
