Glebe, post office

The former Glebe post office is located on the corner of Glebe Point Road and St Johns Road, in the inner west suburb of Glebe. It was designed by James Barnet and built around 1890 in the Victorian Free Classical architectural style.

    1. It's just been refurbished but is vacant at the moment. Perhaps a good spot for a cafe or restaurant, as so many old post offices seem to become these days.

    1. It's been painted a few different different colours in recent memory but I think this deep red and white makes you take more notice of it.
