This street art is located on a wall in Hutchinson Place, in the inner city suburb of Surry Hills. I'm not sure what it means but I like seeing this sort of random street art in urban areas rather than graffiti or tagging.
The thought crossed my mind but I couldn't find any information about it. I noticed that there were some tags on and around it recently, which were carefully removed. So somebody thinks it's a valuable piece of street art.
That is a pretty nice piece of street art! The dog almost looks real!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and this is the kind of street art I enjoy.
ReplyDeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteKind of strange, but interesting!

yup, this is so much better than graffiti. a thought-provoking art.:p
ReplyDeleteVery cool trompe l'oeil image. I like them too. Often they are paste-ups. How about this one? Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteThis one is painted and the work is quite meticulous.
Deletethat is the kind of street art I rather like too - they tend not to last too long though
ReplyDeleteThe dog certainly looks real. I wonder about the staining on the ground, could it be...?
ReplyDeleteIt does look suspicious, hee hee. :)
DeleteIt is an odd one Jim. A Dalmatian dreaming of a crow! Why I wonder.
ReplyDeleteGreat mural. I like it.
ReplyDeleteThe dog is an amazing piece of art! Not sure what the blue bubble and the crow like bird is all about! But it's all interesting.
ReplyDeleteFantastic art piece! Looks so real too!
ReplyDeleteSomebody had fun putting this art together!
ReplyDeleteBlue Sky, Muddy River

ReplyDeletei don't know what it means either, but i really like it!
ReplyDeleteI like your blue caption spot. Why not fill it in? Um . . . for instance: "I'm thinking this bird should take off!"
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Jim.
What a great mural, really fun!
ReplyDeleteWell who ever the artist is he/she is pretty good. Maybe the blue bubble is for us to put in our own caption. MB
ReplyDeleteI love this one!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Banksy's work.
