Arncliffe, presbytery

The St Francis Xavier Catholic Presbytery is located along Forest Road, in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. It was designed by William Robson and built in 1893 in the Victorian Italianate architectural style. In 1924 it was acquired by the Roman Catholic Church for use as the church presbytery. This concludes my look at the buildings known as St Francis Xavier Church Group.

  1. This is a lovely home - it may be big but its style suggests a much smaller abode, perhaps styled like a bungalow. Big in size, manageable in spirit...

  7. The encircling verandah seems to give this building a larger presence. It looks well-preserved.
