Jim, a great spot for a picture. Is there a small room in the back, because I see the windows there. The blue coloring is nice, even on the trash container.
This reminds me of one of my proudest accomplishments: convincing a bus company to install a shelter in front of a new apartment building for senior citizens. I had seen elderly folks out there waiting for the bus every day when I left my office to go to lunch and felt that they should have a place to sit down. I wrote a letter to the right people and they agreed with me!
Even though I loathe smelly, petrol guzzling buses in general, I think this bus shelter looks perfect. Edwardian colours were probably a bit early for buses, but that doesn't matter because Sydney once had a great tramway system.

ReplyDeleteNo there isn't a room at the back. Just space for pedestrians to walk past.
DeleteYou always find the best structures to photograph ~ Great shot and so colorful!
