"Here, Now" is a public art installation on the side of an office building in Pitt Street, near Park Street. It was created by Sydney-based graffiti artist Elliott Routledge also known as Numskull for the Art & About Sydney Festival.
On some levels, I actually like the red accents on building in the foreground better than the combination of red/blue on the graphic. Still, it is a great find for a Ruby Tuesday Too.
I wondered if Numskull was sharing a Buddhist idea. But the colorful design looks a lot like confetti, which doesn't seem too Buddhist to me. So now I'm opting for a "happy to be alive" message. Which, come to think of it, is a Buddhist notion. Back to the start again. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
It certainly does demand your attention!

ReplyDeleteThe wall was plain white before the mural was painted. A time lapse video of the artwork being created can be seen from the link.
