The Fisher Library is located along Eastern Avenue on the University of Sydney campus, in the inner city suburb of Camperdown. Thomas Fisher was the library's greatest benefactor with the first Fisher Library built in 1909 in the building now known as MacLaurin Hall. This Fisher Library was designed by Ken Wolley, Edward (Ted) Farmer and Tom E O'Mahoney and built in 1962 in the International Modern architectural style. At ground level the walls are clad with stone, the first floor is glazed and the second floor contains an extensive roof terrace which is formed by a continuation of the external frame.
Jim, love all the windows. Might be a great place to study.
