Woolloomooloo and now barangaroo...what interesting names. It seems like they both have a connection to the kangaroo. It has been years and years since I was on a paddle wheel tour boat. This one is especially nice.

ReplyDeleteBoth are Aboriginal names. Barangaroo was the wife of an Aboriginal leader Bennelong who lived in this area.
