This water pumping station is located on the edge of Easton Park along the Lilyfield Road, in the inner west suburb of Rozelle. This heritage listed building was built in 1904 in the Federation Queen Anne architectural style.
I have seen two amazing pumping stations in London that were way over the top. http://melbourneblogger.blogspot.com.au/2009/05/crossness-london-amazing-victorian.html
Some of the smallest buildings can have some of the best details. This is just a lovely structure. It is clean, simple, but says, "I was built to last forever." Nicely captured. Have a blessed day.
Small but perfectly formed :)
