Balmain East, wharf

A First Fleet Class ferry departs from Balmain East ferry wharf, which sits at the end of Darling Street, in the inner west suburb of Balmain East. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is peeking above the wharf.

  6. A First Fleet Class ferry requires a good quality ferry wharf, as we can see in Balmain East. Was there any flooding over the wharf-floor these last few weeks?

    1. These newer ferry wharves are pontoons so they rise when the water rises.
