Rockdale, Gujaga Park, sculpture

This sculpture is located in Gujaga Park, in the southern suburb of Rockdale. It features depictions of threatened species of animals in the state with their general name and scientific name. These are Australasian Bittern, Regent Honeyeater, Green and Golden Bell Frog, Australian Water Dragon and Painted Snipe.

  4. I wonder how many people stop and look. It's an important message and kudos for those who erected this, but I'm wondering it's in a good place for viewing.

    1. I've taken this photo from the walkway at the entrance to the park, so if you're walking to the park you would definitely see it.
