Randwick, Marcellin College

Marcellin College Randwick is a Roman Catholic school for boys, located along Alison Road in the eastern suburb of Randwick. Conducted by the Marist Brothers, it was founded in 1923.

  1. I like brick buildings. This one is particularly pretty with the covered areas. Deep shadows there, nice and cool in summer, I'll bet.

  2. I don't normally like heavy, dark red brick buildings, but the trees have softened the facade from the street.

  3. It's a different architecture than I've seen with many college buildings (the front says it is a college - maybe one no longer?) The trees give it a distinct look.

    1. The building is still in use but there are more modern buildings surrounding it too.

  4. Such a stunning building - Thanks for linking up and sharing your snaps with #MySundaySnapshot.

  5. Lovely old building, Jim. Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave me a message. Jim.
