
This former electricity substation No.6 with underground public toilets is located at Taylor Square between Oxford Street and the intersection of Forbes and Bourke Street, in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst. The heritage-listed building was designed by Robert Hargreave Brodrick and built from 1904 to 1907 with Owen Ridge & Sons building the substation and G. D. Getherson the underground public conveniences.

I have an app on my phone with all public toilets in Stockholm. I did have am idea about photographing all of them. Yet to do that, though.

ReplyDeleteThe substation and underground toilets were built at the same time. Both are now being refurbished for a different use.
