Cockle Bay, Sydney Boat Show
Cockle Bay at Darling Harbour is currently looking very crowded with all these boats on display for the Sydney International Boat Show, which is being held from 28 July to 1 August 2016. This year the event has expanded to Glebe Island with a free ferry service operating between the two locations.

Arncliffe, houses
"Gladstone and Wentworth" are located along Forest Road, in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. These heritage listed semi detached terrace houses were built in 1886 in the Victorian architectural style. These terraces have been repainted in recent years using a different colour scheme but I prefer this former colour scheme.

Arncliffe, railway station
Arncliffe railway station is on the Illawarra railway line in the southern suburb of Arncliffe. This photo from Platform 1 and 2 towards the ticket office and entrance is historical now, since work began recently to upgrade the station. Lifts are being installed, as well as shelters along the platforms, new stairs, benches, bins and signs.

Erskineville, art
This former industrial building is located on the corner of Roachford Street and Knight Street, in the inner city suburb of Erskineville. It is one of the buildings in this street which is home to Commune Studios, a co-working space for creative industry freelancers, small businesses and entrepreneurs. It is a collective of creatives from many fields – design, photography, film, journalism, public relations, events – all working under one roof. The roller door features artwork which is constantly updated and this unusual mural has since been replaced by another mural.

Bexley, School of Arts
The School of Arts is located along Forest Road, in the southern suburb of Bexley. This heritage listed building was built in 1924 in the Inter War architectural style, with California Bungalow features which resemble houses in this area. Alterations and additions to the building were made in 1935 to accommodate a baby health centre.

Marrickville, mural
This mural is located on the wall of a former industrial building on the corner of Railway Parade and Marrickville Road, in the inner west suburb of Marrickville. It is now an entertainment venue which is home to the Camelot Lounge and Django Bar which host live music performances and functions. The mural was created by Hugues Sineux in 2015 as a homage to dance halls and music venues. It is inspired by the film Le Bal and draws on the cubist work of Sonia Delaunay to create a merry ballroom scene in full swing, attended by an eclectic bunch of characters drawn in stylised forms.

St Pauls Lutheran Church is located along Stanley Street in the inner city suburb of Darlinghurst. The St Pauls congregation was formed in 1915 and this church was built in 1961 as St Paul's Lutheran Peace Memorial Church.

Anzac Bridge, Anzac Memorial
Two Anzac Memorials featuring bronze sculptures of Australian and New Zealand soldiers on plinths, are located at the western approach of the Anzac Bridge at Rozelle. The sculpture of an Australian ANZAC soldier facing west was unveiled on ANZAC Day in 2000. This sculpture of a New Zealand ANZAC soldier facing east was added in 2008.

Camperdown, war memorial
This war memorial is located in Camperdown Park, in the inner west suburb of Camperdown. The war memorial is a marble statue of an Australian soldier, with rifle, standing atop a sandstone plinth. The memorial and a garden of Rosemary for remembrance are surrounded by a picket fence. It commemorates those who from the suburb who died in service or were killed in action during World War 1. The inscription reads: In Memory Of The Men Who Enlisted Locally And Fell In The Great War 1914-1919 Having Faithfully Served Their King And Country. Erected By The Citizens Of Camperdown.
