Coogee beach

The waves seen crashing here on the rocks are on the northern side of Coogee Beach, beside a rock pool, in the eastern suburb of Coogee. The Coogee Surf Life Saving Club is perched at the top of the cliff at the southern end of the beach.

For some reason (maybe that I am a cakeaholic) that lifeguard station reminds me of a fondant fancy...

That building has an interesting shape. Beautiful surf, too.

Love the waves crashing. I suppose with that kind of surf you need life savers near by. Great captures.

Life Saving Club sounds like a hopeful name for a club. Brilliant art deco-kinda architecture too. Lovely sea themed post!

I love the spray! And the building has a nice 1920s/1930s feel to it.
