This wharf is on the western bank of the Georges River, beside Lighthorse Park, in the south western suburb of Liverpool. A flock of ducks flying past, across the river, can be seen here.
I like the flock of birds. Don't know about watery Wednesday, it is certainly a windy one though - awoke to see a pink/orange sky and the water at Balmoral beach emerald green. Orange dust everywhere.
I'm imagining a long slow ride down that waterway. When I was growing up my address was a little post office here in WV named Liverpool. That was cool when the Beatles came over. :) As always - nice shots!!
Always good views of Sydney. I like the perspective the white poles give to the shot. Have you ever seen "Sydney Eye " blog? You could probably find it on my blog list.
What a gorgeous place to rest.
ReplyDeleteThis Scouse thing fooled me. until I went through the rest of the blog.
ReplyDeleteNice blog it is too.
I didn't know there was a Liverpool in Australia - thank you for the introduction, and the wonderful views of the city.

Another lovely scenes. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteI really like the one with the ducks in it - it's very timeless, capturing an event the river has seen over and over again.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photo of the flying ducks.
ReplyDeletePerhaps they can't wait long at the wharf and have to fly soon enough.
Thanks for your visit.
Liverpool? That's new to me but so much like how a lot of the places in Canada have British Isle names too.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a gentle, lazy river.
