Liverpool, Georges River

This wharf is on the western bank of the Georges River, beside Lighthorse Park, in the south western suburb of Liverpool. A flock of ducks flying past, across the river, can be seen here.

  3. I like the flock of birds. Don't know about watery Wednesday, it is certainly a windy one though - awoke to see a pink/orange sky and the water at Balmoral beach emerald green. Orange dust everywhere.

  4. It certainly was a wild morning, BlossomFlowerGirl. I've got a couple of photos of the orange haze to share on Skywatch Friday.

  7. I'm imagining a long slow ride down that waterway.
When I was growing up my address was a little post office here in WV named Liverpool. That was cool when the Beatles came over. :)
    As always - nice shots!!

  8. I really like the one with the ducks in it - it's very timeless, capturing an event the river has seen over and over again.

  9. Very nice photo of the flying ducks.
Perhaps they can't wait long at the wharf and have to fly soon enough.

    Thanks for your visit.

  10. Liverpool? That's new to me but so much like how a lot of the places in Canada have British Isle names too.

Looks like a gentle, lazy river.
