Botanic Gardens, plants

The plants in this display in the Royal Botanic Gardens have changed throughout the year. It currently features cactuses and succulents.

  1. I guess they will stay. No more pretty flower beds for Australia. No matter the pleasure received, the staff and water costs are too high.

  10. I wouldn't want the job of moving some of those cacti around just for the sake of changing the display. LOL
    Lovely photo, Jim!

  14. Pretty flowers - I don't usually think of color like that with succulents. Even better that they are good for your environment. I think I'd spend a lot of time in the gardens if I lived where you do.

  17. Somehow I never think of Australia as having cacti, but I suppose in a botanic garden anything is possible!

    GOING FOR THE RED

“If forced to make choices,” she said,
“I’d go for the crimson and red.
    I’d let go of green,
    (Some think it’s obscene),
    Embracing magenta instead.”
