"Rubber Duck" is a gigantic inflatable artwork that has been installed in Cockle Bay, at Darling Harbour for the Sydney Festival, an annual event in January. This 15-metre or five-storey high artwork was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman.
This is like a watery version of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. What is next? A bar of soap and giant children in the water playing with the rubber ducky?
Now what I want to know Jim is ... Where does the yellow rubber duck live when he's not in Sydney Harbour? or does he roam the high seas searching for a safe haven.
Conheci Sydney e esta Baía é linda. A Darling Harbour é ótima para passear, ir à restaurantes ... Fui em Janeiro de 2012. Não vi o pato. Ele apareceu este ano. Só vi através fotos, propagandas. Gostei da brincadeira da cor. Felicidades.
I'm glad you had the chance to visit Darling Harbour and saw the duck for yourself. Yes, Darling Harbour is a great place to walk around or visit some great restaurants, bars and cafes.
We down south know all about the rubber duck, but I haven't seen such a great photo of duck.
