Elizabeth Bay Marina is located on Sydney Harbour, at the end of Ithaca Road beside Beare Park, in the eastern suburb of Elizabeth Bay. There is a cafe on the wharf, right on the water.
The bushfires are quite serious in some parts of the country but the cities have remained mostly unaffected so far. However, the danger is not over since the heatwave continues.
Back in the day, before I was married, I met a bloke whose parents had a stunning flat in Elizabeth Bay. It was almost worth leaving home, emigrating to Sydney, bumping off his parents and marrying this man, just for that sensational view *sighs fondly*
It's so nice to have coffee or a meal in a cafe that sits right on the water, lovely shot Jim.
ReplyDeletelovely blues and whites.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, I hope you and yours are safe from the terrible Forest fires that have been going up around Australia. Thanks for sharing:)

ReplyDeleteI've heard of people doing drastic things for a Sydney Harbour view but that would have been extreme. :)
