Circular Quay

Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge are the focal point of New Year's Eve celebrations. This view of ferries arriving and departing at Circular Quay ferry wharves is from the viewing deck above Circular Quay railway station.

  1. It's the perfect spot for your fire-works display Jim ... always spectacular to watch on tv.

  2. it looks so great from my point of view, thawing Sweden. For now. :)

  3. The ferries look terrific on the harbour and at their wharves. The photo reminds us of what transport might have been like in quieter, less frenetic days.

    Happy 2013 :)

  4. This place is classic. I was telling some friends last night about the time we attended the New Year celebration at Circular Quay. It is a treat to see it today on your blog.

  7. Awesome watery view. Lots of interesting things to see.

  8. There's always such a hive of activity around and under the bridge. It stands so majestically looking over it all, love it! Thanks Jim, looking forward to seeing it many times in 2013.

  9. A fine view of the Harbour Bridge and a welcome contribution to Sunday Bridges, Jim!

«Louis» hopes the new year is off to a good start for you!
