Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge are the focal point of New Year's Eve celebrations. This view of ferries arriving and departing at Circular Quay ferry wharves is from the viewing deck above Circular Quay railway station.
The ferries look terrific on the harbour and at their wharves. The photo reminds us of what transport might have been like in quieter, less frenetic days.
This place is classic. I was telling some friends last night about the time we attended the New Year celebration at Circular Quay. It is a treat to see it today on your blog.
There's always such a hive of activity around and under the bridge. It stands so majestically looking over it all, love it! Thanks Jim, looking forward to seeing it many times in 2013.
It's the perfect spot for your fire-works display Jim ... always spectacular to watch on tv.
ReplyDeleteit looks so great from my point of view, thawing Sweden. For now. :)
