The bushfires seem to be relentless.
Deletebeautiful architecture and I like the outdoor exhibit
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to look at, all those squares in the building and out front.
ReplyDeletethat is awesome...what a cool idea!!!
ReplyDeleteCustoms House is a gorgeous building but what is the square in the front usually used for? Not photographic displays normally, I am assuming.
ReplyDeleteThere are exhibits and commercial promotions often set up in this square. I've actually featured a few before.
DeleteWhat a great idea for showing people what is included in the exhibit, I love that you can walk right up to them and be outside, So nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place/building and a cool idea indeed!! Terrific shadow shot for the day, Jim!!
ReplyDeleteYou have make beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, RW & SK
«Louis» has been fascinated with the Sydney Opera House - it seems to be a most remarkable building. He would enjoy seeing these photos.
ReplyDeleteLooks of the building aside, «Louis» wonders if the acoustics in the building are as bad as they are in many other modern structures. For example, Le Corbusier's Chapel at Ronchamps, the San Francisco Symphony Building and St. Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco all have wretched acoustics.
The Sydney Opera House has had criticisms about its acoustics too but this was due to not following the architect's original plans.
DeleteAs always, I am loving the choice of architecture for this week's 'feature'! Double bonus too, for historical images of SOH for pedestrians to enjoy and learn.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking building and another person like me photographing construction
ReplyDeleteCool place to be. The weather is always nice. Can't compare to our weather.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Sunday, Jim. TC and keep away with the flaming Infierno.
Such a handsome building makes a perfect location for this exhibit.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful day highlighting the delightful setting of this outdoor gallery. And the old Customs House still looks fresh and grand.
ReplyDeleteThe Customs House is a grand setting for a very interesting exhibition of these photographs.
ReplyDeleteEverywhere I look in this photo, I see shadows! ;)
