Australia Square Tower

Australia Square is an office and retail complex, bounded by George Street, Bond Street, Pitt Street and Curtin Place. The Australia Square Tower was designed by Harry Seidler and was completed in 1967, becoming Australia's first true skyscraper. O Bar and Dining is a revolving restaurant and bar on the 47th floor, previously known as The Summit Restaurant and Orbit Lounge. The 48th floor houses an observation deck.

Eveleigh, Locomotive Workshop, carriage

This old train carriage is on display at the Australian Technology Park, in the inner city suburb of Eveleigh. The building was formerly the Locomotive Workshop, part of the Eveleigh Railway Yards which were the largest and most technologically advanced workshops in the southern hemisphere in the late 19th century. This type of single deck steel rail car operated on the Sydney Suburban system from 1925 until 1992.

Eveleigh, Locomotive Workshop

The former Eveleigh Railway Yards are part of the Australian Technology Parkin the inner city suburb of Eveleigh. This heritage listed Locomotive Workshop was built in 1877, consisting of 16 bays originally used for one or more trades required to repair or manufacture locomotives and their components. It now houses commercial office and exhibition space.

Eveleigh, pivot crane

This crane is on display in Innovation Plaza near the corner of Locomotive Avenue, between the Engine Shop and Locomotive Workshop at the Australian Technology Park, in the inner city suburb of Eveleigh. This was once the site of the Eveleigh Railway Yards, which were the largest and most technologically advanced workshops in the southern hemisphere in the late 19th century. This pivot crane was used from about 1925 in the now demolished Wheel Shop in the manufacture of locomotive wheels. A maintenance man is giving it a fresh coat of paint.

Haberfield, St Joan of Arc Catholic Church

St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church is located on the corner of Dalhousie Street and Deakin Avenue, in the inner west suburb of Haberfield. The original St church was built in nearby Ramsay Street in 1909. It was believed to be the first church in the world to be named after St Joan of Arc, following her beatification and canonisation. This blonde brick building was completed in 1955.

This bus shelter is located along Tamarama Marine Drive, in the eastern suburb of Tamarama. This bus stop sits behind Tamarama Beach and Tamarama Park, flanked by flag poles featuring a variety of international flags.

"Girl Pointing" is a sculpture by Matt Calvert, which was located on the cliffs at Tamarama for Sculpture by the Sea, the annual outdoor sculpture exhibition on the coastal walk from Bondi. The girl is pointing out at the Pacific Ocean, past MacKenzie Bay, Tamarama Bay and Nelson Bay, with the eastern suburbs of Bronte and Clovelly in the background.

Tamarama, Sculpture By The Sea

Sculpture by the Sea is the annual outdoor sculpture exhibition which ended last week. "Horizon" was created by Lucy Humphrey and was located on a cliff beside the two kilometre coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama. It was the winner of the People's Choice Prize this year. This two-tonne acrylic sphere, filled with 1800 litres of water, reflects the image of the sky and ocean upside down.
